Geely Selects CEVA Logistics for Australian Market Launch

Chinese automotive giant Geely Auto Group has officially entered the Australian market, naming CEVA Logistics as its lead logistics and transport provider across the country. The partnership follows the debut of Geely’s EX5 electric SUV, now available for immediate delivery at dealerships nationwide.
The announcement comes as Geely, already known for its global automotive reach—including ownership of Volvo, Polestar, Lotus, and the London EV Company—unveils its plan to establish a 100-site dealership network across Australia and New Zealand in the coming years.
“We are incredibly excited to officially launch Geely Auto in Australia, offering a flexible mobility model that suits the Australian way of life,” said Li Lei, CEO of Geely Auto Australia. “The world-class logistics support provided by a leading global partner, CEVA Logistics, will be integral to our success here.”
The EX5 SUV, Geely’s first model in Australia, is priced from $40,990 AUD for the entry-level “Complete” variant and $44,990 AUD for the premium “Inspire” trim. The model is now available for test drives and customer enquiries.
Through its partnership with CEVA, Geely gains access to an experienced logistics partner with multi-regional supply chain expertise, critical for managing vehicle distribution in new markets.
“CEVA’s ability to manage complex logistics across vast geographies makes them the ideal freight supplier as we introduce our vehicles to Australian dealer networks and customers,” Lei added.
The move reinforces CEVA Logistics’ growing role in supporting major automotive supply chains and aligns with the provider’s expansion in the Asia-Pacific region.
As the global electric vehicle market accelerates, Geely’s entry into Australia—backed by CEVA’s logistics infrastructure—sets the stage for increased competition in the region’s EV segment.
