WFS adds a new cargo building at Heathrow

At Heathrow Airport, cargo operations continue to change. Worldwide Flight Services, known as WFS, has obtained a new cargo site on the airport area. The building was developed for WFS use.

The site is designed for cargo handling. It includes areas for imports and exports. Space is also available for freight grouping and cargo preparation. The building answers current volume needs.

Cargo traffic at Heathrow remains high. Existing facilities are heavily used. Additional space helps manage daily operations. It also limits pressure on other sites.

The new building is part of normal operational planning. Cargo processing takes place on the ground before and after flights. Ground facilities affect how fast goods move.

Handling companies continue to adjust their physical footprint at large airports. Heathrow remains one of the main cargo locations in Europe.
