Oman Air Cargo appoints new regional sales leader for Middle East & Gulf

Oman Air Cargo has announced the creation of a new strategic role within its commercial management to strengthen its expansion in the Middle East and Gulf region. Gokul Sudamani has been appointed Regional Head of Sales, responsible for leading commercial development initiatives, deepening partnerships with key logistics players, and expanding the company’s cargo footprint in essential corridors.
This decision comes in a context where demand for air freight continues to grow in the Gulf markets and beyond, driven by the recovery from pandemic disruptions and the increase in intercontinental trade. By consolidating its commercial team, Oman Air Cargo aims not only to increase its visibility but also to improve connectivity between Middle Eastern air hubs and key markets in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
Sudamani’s appointment is part of the company’s broader strategy to offer more integrated and responsive air transport solutions to international shippers, while capitalizing on the opportunities presented by the acceleration of e-commerce and the growth of specialized cargo flows.
