BlueBox Systems launches analytics platform to improve trade lane decisions

BlueBox Systems has launched Tradelane Intelligence, a new analytics platform designed to help freight decision-makers compare carrier performance and improve planning across supply chains.
The Bonn-based company said the platform goes beyond traditional visibility by offering advanced reporting tools that support both operational and strategic decision-making. It is built on airfreight data verified through a proprietary AI-based algorithm that consolidates and checks multiple data sources.
According to chief executive Martin Schulze, the new platform provides customers with a stronger level of transparency by turning reliable real-time data into practical trade lane insight.
Users can compare both air and ocean carriers across several criteria, including transit time, punctuality, document compliance, timeliness of status updates and CO2 emissions. The analysis can be viewed from the perspective of individual carriers or specific trade lanes.
A document transfer reporting function is also included, allowing users to verify whether the paperwork needed for cargo release will be available on time. Exceptions can be flagged before the shipment arrives, helping reduce downstream disruption.
BlueBox said the platform reflects its broader ambition to support a more data-driven supply chain and help customers identify performance gains that strengthen competitiveness.
