Chapman Freeborn Names Latha Narayan President for Asia Pacific

Chapman Freeborn has appointed Latha Narayan as President APAC, with effect from 1 April, as the company looks to deepen its presence and strengthen performance across the Asia Pacific region.
The global air charter specialist, which is part of Avia Solutions Group, said Narayan will oversee strategic and commercial development across APAC, with a focus on scaling operations, improving performance and reinforcing alignment across its cargo, passenger and business aviation activities.
Narayan brings more than two decades of aviation experience to the role. Her background includes senior leadership positions at British Airways and Etihad Airways, where she worked across commercial strategy, revenue management and transformation programmes in complex international environments. More recently, she has worked independently as an aviation and cargo consultant, advising clients on network optimisation, digital transformation and business strategy.
Chapman Freeborn said Narayan is well regarded for her commercial judgement and her ability to deliver measurable results across multi-market operations.
Group chief executive Saska Gerasimova said strengthening leadership in Asia Pacific is a strategic priority as the company continues to expand globally. She described Narayan as bringing a strong blend of commercial expertise, strategic insight and proven transformation experience, adding that her appointment positions the business well for its next phase of regional growth.
Narayan said she was honoured to take on the role and to join an organisation known across the industry for its reputation, integrity and aviation leadership. She said her priorities would include accelerating growth, increasing collaboration and delivering high-quality solutions across all business lines, while helping redefine what is possible in an industry undergoing rapid change.
The appointment reflects Chapman Freeborn’s wider investment in Asia Pacific and its continued focus on building leadership capacity across its global network.
